BitsyXb

A Embedded Windows CE 6.0 BSP is available for the The Intel® (Now Marvell) PXA270 at the heart of the BitsyXb. This powerful embedded PXA270 single board computer provides dynamic (variable) speed and voltage regulation, and includes 5 low power modes which ADS has leveraged throughout its low-level software code to make CE PXA270 power-stingy, and perfect for handheld applications.

The BitsyXb, like its PXA255-based sister product, the BitsyX, is compact and robust with features including ADSmartIO™, and power-thrifty using ADSmartPower™ with partitioning for optimal power usage. ADS systems have been successfully deployed in several battery-backed embedded applications including PDA/handheld, instrumentation, medical monitoring, telematics, and several others. The BitsyXb can be used either as a stand-alone system or configured using a personality board for expandability.

TurboXb

An Embedded Windows CE 6.0 BSP is available for the TurboXb system, consisting of a processor module coupled with an application-specific personality board. It is a full featured, low power, XScale-based embedded computer system using the Marvell® PXA270 RISC microprocessor. The TurboXb is a complete applications solution under a single source. With ADS' unique customization capabilities, the processor module can be readily integrated with a range of reconfigurable personality boards to meet customers’ specific design requirements. The TurboXb offers an economical, reliable system to get product to market effectively and efficiently.

UAV-X

A customized, Windows CE 6.0 BSP is available for the PXA270 powered UAV-X is a rugged single board computer running at 520MHz. The system is optimized for data collection and automation operations for UAV (Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles, Air, Land, Sea or Sub-Sea), Intelligent Security Cameras, 'leave behind' monitoring stations, and submerged or floating monitoring buoys. Extensive partitioned power management and the ADSmartIO™ subsystem provide extremely low power consumption, with sleep and deep sleep states in the micro-amp range and full turbo operation still sub-watt. The UAV-X will provide leapfrog performance over typical SBCs now used in UAVs by employing additional features embedded in the COTS silicon. These features include direct Intel QuickCapture™, 4 megapixel camera CCD input and DSP built into the PXA270 chip (Applied Data would provide the OS API to access this capability).
