CSTI Battlefield Communication

This Graphics Client Plus plays a central role in switching, monitoring and controlling battlefield communication. For this project, it had to be hardened against direct exposure to battlefield radar. This company has since become part of a major defense contractor, who continues to select ADS as a partner.

DCS Local Delivery Truck Management

DCS incorporates ADS technologies within a wireless communication platform called the Diplomat. This portable unit is used by companies with a mobile work force to track their traveling vehicles for more efficient deliveries and route planning.

This is another good example of an ADS solution for in-vehicle telematics.

Phraselator™ Military PDA with Phrase Translation

The Phraselator™ is a portable wireless phrase recognition PDA that speaks translated phrases. It was developed for the military in a rugged, low power form-factor. It features high-fidelity, directional stereo audio channels with inbound/ outbound capability and a separate mike for background levels.

Pile Dynamics High-Speed Analyzer

Portable and versatile, the device analyzes data from sensors mounted on the pile driver or support pilings. As the pile is driven, the system monitors the pile for integrity and stresses. The computer is an Applied Data Systems Bitsy running Windows CE and programmed by Pile Dynamics, incorporating their modeling and data analysis software.

Quortech eMillennium Terminal

eMillennium is the public communication for the 21st Century. Users can check e-mail, get stock quotes, make on-line purchases, even cruise the Internet, all while talking on the phone. Extensive testing to meet FCC and CSA telecommunication requirements was required for this device.

Rosario Bus Integrated Telematics

Rosario Bus S.A. developed an integrated system for their bus transport system. This system links computers on the bus with real-time scheduling and operations, as well as route planning, driver training and customer satisfaction tracking systems.

A bus can use an automatic passenger counter to check cash fare collection.

Sunrise Telecom Cable Tester

ADS engineers worked with Sunrise to develop the CaLan N1776A, which combines the functions of a spectrum analyzer, network sweep system, digital modulation analyzer, signal level meter and IP tester.
